Shipping and Returns

At Smart Home Direct, we don’t like shipping costs and we do our best to keep them as low as possible, this is the exact reason why rather than offering FREE SHIPPING, to then just simply over inflate our product prices, we much prefer to remain competitive in the market and offer fair, reasonable and competitive pricing on our products so that we can pass on the savings to our customers.

All items are posted via Australia Post or our selected Courier Providers.

Generally we request that customers allow 5 – 7 business days for delivery and if there are to be any expected delays we will contact customers within 24 hours.

Delivery of items is subject to availability, and we cannot accept responsibility or liability for any item that is not able to be supplied.

If you receive an item that is faulty and not working, we offer a full refund of the goods purchased, store credit or exchange once the item is returned to us. All costs associated with returning the faulty goods back to us are the responsibility of the customer.

Please contact us via email on info@smarthomedirect.com.au stating “Return” and quoting your Order No. in the subject line.

PLEASE NOTE: no exchanges or returns are offered if the customer changes their mind, orders the incorrect items or on sale items.

We reserve the right to refuse a returned items if the items do not comply to our returns policy. Refused items will be posted back to you and additional postage will be charged. We accept no responsibility for returns that are sent by non-traceable postage methods and are not received. Unfortunately without the items we cannot issue an exchange or refund. We strongly suggest you send your returns using a traceable method.
