Aeotec Z-Wave Door Window Sensor 6 is a battery-powered Z-Wave magnetic contact Door/Window Sensor, beautifully designed to blend into any home and décor.

Add the intelligence to your Z-Wave system with Door / Window Sensor 6 and always know when your key doors and windows are opened or closed.

It’ll also let you know when they’ve been opened and they shouldn’t be.

The Aeotec Z-Wave Door Window Sensor 6 sends radio signals up to 5 associated Z-Wave devices within its own Z-Wave network when the main unit separates from the smaller unit (i.e. the door or window it is attached to is opened).

Bidirectional mounting plates and a push button release clasp allows for easy end-user installation.

The Aeotec Z-Wave Door Window Sensor 6 also has tamper prevention capability and low-battery alerts.

The sensor is 20% smaller than the first version, and also includes the latest stable Z-Wave technology including Z-Wave explorer frames.

When needed simply remove the sensor from its mounting plate and recharge it over a few hours via USB.

Both the mounting bracket and the magnetic shard can be installed in moments with options including double sided tape, tiny screws and even a dab of glue.

Once that’s done, you’ll only need to connect the main sensor to a Z-Wave network and attach it to its mounting plate. In minutes, you’re done.
